    RNGTOY at Spa

    Here are some pics.

Woke up at 5:45 at Ringhaus to start driving to SPA - it was wet :(
The Ringhaus E30 can be seen - RIP:

The M3 and the M5 waking up:

Here you can also see how wet it was - we did not like the situation!!!

Here we are at Spa - driving under the track to enter the pit area:

Quite a group of cars - those 4 are over 2000hp combined :)

We rented a garage and here is the red M5 in place:

Here I am trying to clean most of the road dirt off the cars:
    .onno.is/thordur/almennt/Eurotour2007/saemi/IMG_3401.jpg[/img]

    Our neighbours have arrived:

    Still cleaning:

It´s almost as if the red M5 is eager to get going on the track:

Shortly after driving started the first accident happened - a guy went off on Eu Rouge:

My friend Saemi will be happy to have this picture later - to be able to show
the beginning of his racing career :)

Here I had started driving the white one and I am here explaining to
a Porsche owner (the one in the blue shoes) why he was slower on the
    track :)

Here is a pic from just before we left - there is the Honda that crashed
while trying to keep up with RNGTOY. He had been in my way, did not
let me pass, was much slower and was sliding the back end in the turns.
I waited behind him until the straight and the passed him while I was doing
200 km/h. I then watched him in the mirror in the fast left turn and saw
him slide outwards over the red/white edge of the outside of the track.
He then spun and ended on the wall on the inside of the track. He must
have been doing 160 km/h. As you can see the car is rather damaged:

    One pic of the M5's:

Here we are on our way to get more gas - RNGTOY was running on fumes:

Here is the gas station that did good business that day - three very thirsty cars :)

Here we are on our way back to Ringhaus:

The M5 had so much brake dust it seems as if the wheels are gunmetal colored:

The white one was doing well after a difficult day:

    Also, here is a video:

Great pictures, great video, fantastic car!

    Sounds beautiful.

Looks like you had a great time, too bad for the s2k, much dishonor on his family for being beat by an old e30 ;)

Wow, that looks like a BLAST! Glad to see you using the cars for what you built them for.

Very, Very nice... like others, Spa is in the top three all-world list of tracks to drive. (Monaco, Spa, Nurburgring)

                          Tres Jealous!!

Just watched the vid too... that T6 & T7 complex looks way tighter than on TV or video games from that angle LOL.

FWIW... here's a full in car lap I found: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...+Francorchamps

True - the elevation change leading to and up Eu Rouge is much
more than I expected. This section is very tricky and will punish
you quickly if you are not careful (as a few guys experienced that day).

The video camera used was the Sony HVR-A1E HDV camera - recorded
in HDV but digitized in DV & edited and encoded on a laptop.

You guys are right about Spa - it´s a great track. The good thing about
it is that the track is very smooth and has alot of runoff areas. This
means you can go really fast and still have room to recover if you screw
                            up!!

Nurburgring is the total opposite - all kinds of surfaces and no room for
                            error :(

Here are some vids from last Sunday - most from early in the morning
when it was a little damp. I was driving on semi slicks so I didn´t
go too fast while it wasn´t dry and the traction control was on.....

Notice the 700 hp E30 on the straight
