I can score a set of new 16" 5Zigen wheels (15 lbs.) for $300 and a set of hardly used 205/50-16 Bridgestone Potenza RE730s for $100. That seems like a hard-to-resist price for that autoX set-up, no? But if that's not a spectacular deal for that package I can wait. What say ye?
I'll just be starting autoX this summer. I recently acquired a new set of Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2s with Ronal LS mesh wheels. I'm thinking that if the above deal is a no-brainer to buy (I'll be a beginner don't forget) I'd rather save my Ronals-Michelins for street driving and use those on the track.
