    Atlanta Region DoubleX (June30-July1)

I dont see much of an E30 turnout for this event. Only 30 slots left and time is running out to register for one of the best autox events of the year.
The following night event should be interesting as well!

...uhm, oh yeah, i'm not driving my e30. i got a better seat sure to place higher in the charts. 91 miata with a stock 1.8 transplant and megasquirt tuned, putting down a little over 150 at the wheels. a fully adjustable suspension setup and 225 slicks. power nothing and as light as legally possible. its gonna be tight!!

I believe the 91 only had like 90hp.

        The 1.6l was 105-115 and 1.8l was 128 iirc ? but 150whp stock with just MS ? not even ITB's ?

Atlanta SCCA autoxes take SOOO LONG. I did one once and I won't be back.

The best events in the area are Peachtree BMWCCA.

Then there's the Peachtree DE at Road Atlanta July 6-7. Dunno if there's any slots left, but you'll get lots more seat time than at an autox.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

oh poo, the 150 stuck in my head from when we were calculating possible crank hp. sorry. i just found his dyno sheet.

matt, this is two days of autoxing... yeah the atl events can be drawn out, but the experience of battling it out with another car at the same time is fucking cool. the video on that site is cool too.

                I will be there also.

It's the weekend before the next autocross.

Hmm, I have to admit that does look like a lot of fun. I can't miss anymore saturdays at work though.

Pray no one gets lost while you're out there. I don't think I would do this.
