A few laps of Roebling Road

This was taken during the Triangle Z Club / Tarheel Sports Car Club time trial over Father's Day weekend. Sorry about the crappy video quality, and the wind noise (no external mic :().

1st lap is a warm up... 2nd lap was me trying it in 4th gear all the way, 3rd lap was me driving it as normal (3rd gear in T2, and T4-8 )

While rushing to get it uploaded over lunch, didn't notice it cut off before the end of that 3rd lap... but it's Roebling... you get the idea LOL.

    Enjoy!

Nice, looks like a clean/safe track with enough run-off area ;)

For the most part it is... but a little known fact: The pit wall was built using a special magnetic block and mortar. One of our guys found that out the hard way that weekend :( Lost a nice ITE prepped E36 M3... thankfully no injury though.

The track is a lot faster than it looks on the video (although I'm not much faster lol). Because there's nothing real tight or technical, the sense of speed is diminished.

Yep if you get loose there and try to save it you'll have an intimate moment with the wall. Though it isn't magnetic. It is actually made with chunks from a black hole and gravity just pulls the car right in.

Roebling is a really neat track (one of my favorites). I tend to think of the track as a long straight that feeds into a long giant slalom.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Looks like a fun track! Stacy, do you participate with any of the BMW Club events? Just curious if you knew JoElla?

As a matter of fact, I'll be doing my first Tarheel BMW event next weekend on North Course. I know JoElla through many emails (been helping them transition over to MotorsportReg), but have not met her in person just yet.

BTW... here's another attempt... a bit longer, a little bigger (albeit scrunched from 16:9 to 4:3 :(... on Google:
