This is Klaus Willroider from the Ottawa chapter of the Canadian BMW Club. He did 2mn26 secondes which is pretty fast on this extremely technical track. Calabogie is only a few months old and is perhaps the most technical circuit in North America. Next event is BMW Fest East on July 20-21-22 and it will host a Club Race too. Not too late to sign up.
One of the most famous tracks on which he worked is LCMT, but the track was already designed in the 60s, and Mr Wilson only did a refresh and kept all the original signature corners.
Then there's Calabogie. A great track for HPDEs, not so for racing.
Combines a heart-pounding ribbon through the woods road course with all the pleasures and amenities of a private resort and spectacular views of the White Mountains.
