The Atlanta S2000 guys have CMP rented out on August 11th. The organizer is having trouble filling the spots, so he's opened it up to other car forums.

Cost is $200 for the day. Which is pretty decent for track time. Trust me, you'll get more seat time than you can handle....WAAAAAAY more than any auto-x *nudge, nudge*
If you're interested, just Paypal the organizer directly. Include your forum (r3vlimited), Real name, car (make and model), and experience.
FWIW, CMP is less than an hour south of south Charlotte. It's a great track for beginners. Lots of room to run off, relatively flat, and just enough challenging sections to keep it interesting but not overwhelming.
