I'm setting up my 1990 e30 for some street use and mostly HPDE events. Current setup is GC coilovers, camber plates, strut bars F and R, and Eibach sways F and R. What would be a good aligment setup for street use (not DD) and fun at HPDE's? TIA

2-3 degrees of camber all around, and about 1/32 toe out. Did you corner weight the car yet?'89 325i track sloot

Any toe for a street car is asking for new tires in short order.

I only track/DE my car....it gets streeted just getting to the track! But I take her out for Sun backroad drives as shes just so much fun. I run a SPEC like set up....w/ r tires on 225/50 15 ra's.
Im running neg 3.2 camber w/ fixed plates.... w/ 0 toe, alot of caster w/ powerflex offset lca's........my rears are neg 2.0 non adjustable w/ IE bushings...... She sits well in rear as she was a lo mileage well taken car of car.
Give me a PM...Im in NY and want to check out your GC set up/////.....I may sell a JS set up for GC's.....I m very interested !!!!!! Lunch on me.
It also depends on your tires....RA's want at least neg 3........
Toe out will eat tires but a little bit is nice for quick turn in......but I get neg camber wear at 3 as well. It sounds like your plates r adj........so thats good. Set your car up for the track and make marks on the plates but for the street just take out the neg camber... but set your toe and such for the track specs. When you change camber drastically the toe could/will change a bit,..mine does.
I get like 12 -15( 3 to 4 x 20 min sessions per day) days on my ra's.......and thats good compared to alot of trackers.

Somers, that's down south of Newburgh right? I currently have a job going at West Point, but my e30 ride height won't navigate the speed bumps on base! I'm doing a valve adjustment this weekend, then should be able to get the motor put back together from a t-belt job. Let me know if you are ever up near Albany, we could get together in my shop.
I bought my e30 in FL from an SCCA instructor and the camber plates are marked. I'm trying to eliminate the trial and error method of alignment.
