My suggestion would be to get M3-type swaybar links and tabs, while installing the camber plate and keep the springs the same for the time being. Or throw in IE 3s because they are cheap and only advantage of Races would be SpecE30 or resellability.

I ran GC's fine on the street but Sports are 10X more comfortable and handle fine.

Sports do have roll, but so do GC's and a bigger or M3-type bar in front should help roll a lot. (Watts on Bf.c said that a better front bar will help with all overall roll)

You can always see the rear bar thing on the course and switch it up inbetween runs.

Well, the front bar i have now is a 21mm bar from a IC. I would be willing to mount them to the strut tube for the advantage of preload. Im going to ask despite the risk of sounding stupid, but i assume there are kits made for this, and if so where would i purchase them?

Is strut mount legal for SP? I don't think the M3 falls under UD/BD with the standard e30s. I was under the impression it wasn't but I honestly haven't looked at the solo II rulebook in years.

As for pads, another vote for HP+'s, HT10s will do you nothing in an autox environment.

I dont think its allowed for DSP but im going to switch to SM, which allows pretty much anything. Such as 88 325is cars masquerading as 91 318is's

Why you going SM with an m42?

My car is technically an 88 325is with an M42 swap, if you will. Im not going to be very competitive, but i ran in a consistant 4th or 5th place in DSP last year, and when comparing times to SM i was in about the same position.

Ground control. $16 plus ship for tabs. Have someone weld them on while your tubes are out and housing off for camber plate'ing.

And then you need endlinks. Lemfoerder endlinks are $37 each at most places IIRC, like Partsbin (bimmerworld no longer has them where I picked em up). Or you could go adjustable aftermarket for $85 from IE.

I got both this things unused if you are interested. Never got around to installing.

You can always go bigger in bars later and get adjustable but this may cost $50 + weld instead of $200+.

While welding... you could make the cabrio bar adjustable like I thought about doing. Pretty much smash the end while welding and drill a hole further in. Some MR2 E-stock sites had a write up on it.

                        Okay, now a dumb question:

H&R race springs for M3's are the same as H&R race springs for non-m's?
