    BeerTech Triple Podium

We ran the new CMP layout for the first races of the year here in the SE.

We finished 3rd in the 3 hour enduro for E2 (had to change a tire during the pitstop) on Friday.

On Saturday I managed to be ahead of the T1 accident since I qualified 2nd (best ever quali) and finished the race in 3rd place.

Frame by frame of the accident

Sunday I quali'd 3rd and managed to battle the entire race with Mike Davidson and take 2nd place on the final turn of the last lap.

Here's the video of that race:

    Congrats on the nice finishes.

That accident was nuts. I thought he was gonna flip in that one shot.

      Way to go, JP.

Put the videos up on vimeo.com next time - much better quality than google. (Though google beats the hell out of youtube!)

Congrats JP. Dave Herrington was in my store earlier and said he "loves the Beertech guys."

And as for the video, jesus, the new motor does look strong.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

            Way to go.

Does this mean Rigmaster has some more cars to part for the other guys?

                Thanks for the kind words.

#70 is far from a newb. Sh*t happens and can bite anyone. It could just have easily have happened to me at the start.

MLT left with their tails between their legs,

The real MLT/BTR showdown will be at the Road Atlanta Enduro. We'll have two BTR teams vs. a legitimate MLT team (no pro ringers)

Congrats on a solid finish. That accident went from bad to worse in a few frames, pretty nuts.

BeerTech's next race weekend is Road Atlanta.

I think MLT will have one car at VIR?

Here's my video from the back of the pack. Sunday was my only race for the weekend, so it took me a little while to get into the right frame of mind.

Not sure if they will have a car there.

I was hoping to see you guys run.. One of the guys at work runs Spec E30, and the VIR race weekend is convenient for me. His name is Tom Miller, I know he said he knows a few of the Beertech guys, so you might have heard of him.

My car will be at VIR but I won't be racing it. Dave White is racing it that weekend. I'm concentrating on the South-East races this year.

Tom Miller doesn't ring a bell. What does his car look like?

This is his first year running Spec E30. He's been a NASA instructor for a while and finally decided to go wheel-to-wheel. I'm pretty sure he knows Rob at least. He's got a bunch of Beertech stickers and was asking me the other day if he should put them on or not.
