    Front control arm bearings?

I've been checking around and from the usual sources I can't seem to find front control arm spherical bearings. Anyone know of a source? I won't put anything GC on my car so no need to mention them.

Try Muzzi Motorsport. The site is in German, but they respond to English emails.

I picked up a set of shortened subframe bushings from them and it was a good experience (aside from the exchange rate).

I custom made a pair for my car a while back, pretty simple actually. Just an aluminum block that bolted onto the frame, and a large spherical rod end that fit the end of the control arm.

Are you talking about ball joints?

AKG makes a set similar to what Ely (rs4pro3) posted above.

No, the control arm bushings. I'm likely to stick with standard ball joints for this year, I have other plans entirely for next year.

Yeah, I've seen those. This is a pretty critical suspension component so while I'm not turned off by this option I think I'd like to see some testing and confirmation of product. I know Andy pretty well so like I said, I'm not turned off but I'm also an engineer so I need data to support something like this.

I was just hoping there would be some options which it appears there are few of.

Ely also made me a set which have held up quite well in a autocross and track car.
I took some pretty good photos of them installed on my car, Ely can share them if he see fit.

If your willing to create something, here is a pic from Gustave's website that looks pretty interesting.

Farm equipment supplier, those rod ends are used on tractors and other equipment.

Ya I doubt most farm supply places are going to have the correct metric rod ends. I get mine from a UK based company.

John deere uses metric fittings. ;)

I see people buying the same exact stuff you can get from them for twice as much from a 'race' supplier, it's silly.

It's silly or it's the exact same stuff just not as strong or long lasting.

I am not sure what direction to go with this. I'm running THR eyeball arms right now for DOHC exhaust clearance, but I'm not sure they're the best way to go if not thusly constrained.
