Auto-x at CA speedway w/ Einstein57's e30 (lots of pics)

I just thought I would share with you some photos of how it looked that day. It was Einstein57's first auto-x event. We both learned and is still learning more about how to better setup an e30 for an auto-x event. ENJOY!

That looks like lots of fun. I think you guys would enjoy bmwcca alot more. You guys should come to San Diego next time. Full of BMW's and great instructors to teach you how to drive really well. Based from those pictures though, I think our events are a bit smaller.

Welcome to the world of shredded rubber and burning brakes. You smell those burning brakes and you get a chill down your back... time to go fast :D

Nice pics and nice looking car!

Great fun, but it looks like it's time for some more AutoX friendly tires! It's amazing how fast you can shred normal tires in 50 seconds at 45mph.

That parking lot doesn't look nearly as rough on your tires as the Qualcomm Stadium lot. MAN, I was crying when I would plow or drift in that lot. SUCH rough pavement! San Diego chapter puts on some great autocrosses though! :D

                LOL to all.

yeah, we need some Falken 615's, so we can stay in the same class, otherwise I'd do Hoosier's if I was going for CSM, SM, or DSP. The pavement of where we race, I gotta admit, is a lot smoother than when I raced the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. I like Qualcomm Auto-X races better because they tend to have longer courses like 80-90 seconds long even though they can be harsh on my tires.

You also go up against E30's and such so it's alot more fun. The Qualcomm statium does have a really rough payment, but if you know your driving lines then you won't miss chunck out of your tires. My first 2-3 times my tires were toast but now it's a pretty much even wear. You guys should come out next time.

oh hellz yeah! you know it! i go down there from time to time, but not with bmwcca... i was going to try to go to bmwcca when they held the events at INGLEHOOD! lol... there used to be plenty events at the great western forum held by bmwcca and many other organizers, but they auto-xers left hard tire marks on the parking lot and blamed the drifters about it, so this whole mess lead to "no more races" on the parking lot per great western forum management company.... that was like the best spot ever 'cuz it was literally down the street from where i use to live and work, lol
