    HJC AR-10 Helmet

It was time to upgrade from a 3+ year old black Zamp helmet, it was showing it's age and it would get damn hot in my car w/o A/C.

I bought it from http://www.soloracer.com/hjcar10.html They have also published a guide on some of the helmets they sell here http://www.soloracer.com/helmettech.html

I wanted to find something under $300 but with removable and washable interior, this one fit the bill with a free helmet bag to boot :)

I measured my head right above the ears and ordered a L size helmet, and it fits just perfect. My old helmet was starting to feel really tight, it was Medium size.

I love HJC helmets. Inexpensive, light, and cool nicely. Great pickup!

              Nice helmet.

Out of curiosity, why didn't you go with an open face helmet if you're having heat issues?

I decided to deal with the a little discomfort in favor of better protection. Used the helmet this past weekend, I love it, fits like a glove and doesn't get as hot.

i've always thought these would make a gangsta auto x or drift helmet

I got the same thing just last week with Brett's advice, also in large.

Used it at WGI for a 3 day track event for a nice break in. Definitely a plus having removable washable insides.
