Why was the sunroof welded....I assume you guys raced against alex, and maybe Garrick. I remember seeing the car at the 05' Oscoda Pro.....What was everyone elses take on the sunroof thing?

Bringing it up as A)I'd like to remove mine, and B) it might be an issue with being DSP legal if that's what the purchaser should want to do with it.

The previous owner is the fella that ran it at several pros and a few tours. I don't believe there was any issue at all with the sunroof and I believe Alex helped with some set up advise on the car. Garrick is one of our regional guys here at OVR. If it makes a difference the actual sunroof panel is not welded to the body - it has tabs that are tacked to the sunroof panel and those are tacked to the roof. The sunroof seal is still there.
