but you also have a z3 3.0 short shifter coupled with that diff you have, so at third gear, you definitely will not hold RPM. maybe keep your diff and go z3 1.9 short shifter for more RPMs on third...? are you going to the July 12 event? I think Jesse30 is going; I'm going and two other e30s are going, so that's a total of 4 e30s drifting that day. You should come, Jon and represent, :D
I just got my open 3.73 welded together and that shit feels hella tight! i'm still getting used to DD it especially when turning cuz it just wants to slide out all the time, haha. i can't wait for rain season, lol
dude are you really this fucking stupid? how is a skid plate going to help with oil starvation?
and you guys can talk shit all you want but what am i supposed to tell my friend with the bumps on his cock?
Yeah and I assume he was a setting up people there as well...

Any thing i can do to help? i don't think im at risk to much because i suck at drifting and drive in a straight line for 50% of the time im out on the track.
Your rear tires need to spin different amounts when turning. The inside tire will make fewer revolutions. A welded diff in the snow will make you slide out fo sheezey. Just find yourself an LSD and you will have the best of both worlds.
+1.
DD a welded diff in Los Angeles weather (no snow) still makes my tail slide a little bit every time i turn (imagine rain and snow), but i love it 'cuz all i do is hit the gas after the apex and it corrects itself. i can't wait to try it in autox; with a welded diff, i'll still stay in my STS class while with an LSD, they'll put me in STX (too many Subis in STX that i can't compete with yet). you might be better off with an LSD to get the best of both worlds
