Well, I bought the H&R front bar. I hope I like it. :) I got it from tirerack.com

I'm running the RD 22/F 19/R. Three settings on the front bar and two on the rear. They work well with my H&R Race and Billy/Koni setup.

my experience with Pelican was pretty good. Just a typo on their site...

Since I don't 'need' a bigger front bar till next spring I'm going to look into having a custom built one at 27mm built between now and then.....

    +1

That was a horrible weld but it can be rewelded correctly.

I'm looking into some IEs too. My thinking is the bavauto springs and bilstein sports are stiff enough for a DD/autoX. I'm getting some free used r-comps so maybe stiffer bars will compliment them in autoX? opinions?

I love having the large bars. They definetly help at the autocrosses!
The next step I want to take to balance the car even more would be to move the mount point from stock control arm location to the top of the strut tube, M3 style. This would increase the sway bar's effective rate by about 90% :p
I have to run the 25 front at full hard and the 19 rear at full soft for it to be closer to balanced so it still needs work.
I've seen that post, now that i know it was more than just a freak accident on my friends car at the track it bothers me even more. Every thing I've bought from IE over the years (other than poly bushings) have proven to end up breaking prematurely. I snapped an adjustable sway bar link from them, wore out the "race" camber plates in a short time (bearing literally came loose), and now the swaybar breaks. They seem to have good ideas put poor race proven execution in my opinion.

pedal2metal -- I didn't ask but the swaybar link looked like it was adjusted properly.

Part numbers for a non M? I cannot find them on the sites I have been looking at.

    Thanks!

Maybe he didn't get rid of the pre-load. I've beat on mine (25mm IE bar) with no ill side effects!

But is the extra cost worth 1mm in diameter? Maybe when faced with trying to find a stock convertible bar. But I'd be more inclined to skip right to the 25mm
Are the bars made of identical material and density (probably not the proper words for describing the things that effect the rate of the bar, but you get the point)?
