Wow man, I seriously hate I missed this. I had no idea half of those cars resided anywhere close to us. That Maserati E28 had me rolling on the floor. Looks like an E65/6 dashboard, Maser cluster, and a B5 S4 shift knob perhaps? Someone was seriously creative.

That E30 touring used to live an hour away from me, it was at Vintage at the Vineyards as well. I believe the present owner is still trying to get a hatch, which is harder than some would suspect.

          Incredible turnout.

Awesome pics!! So many cars and people we've seen over the years.

There was a father and son with E30 318is/325is, both cars are white. Happen to get any pics of those?

yea im lucky mine isn't near as bad, but i'm getting it a little in the same spots, must be a drainage issue.

shouldn't be too hard (just expensive) to ship one here from the motherland

also, I can't imagine it being that bad that you can't take the glass out, blast it, and weld in new metal where need be

tell him to ask will zaraska what he did when he put his touring into the wall at mosport. I know the quarter had to be replaced, not sure about the hatch

Glad you got some pictures of my brother's "Der Panzer" hahaha, I was there for Saturday hanging out with the Bimmerworld guys watching my brother race, he was really tearing up the newbie class, or whatever D is. Bassen's car is ungodly loud though, you would hear it on the other side of the track louder than the cars 100 ft away on the straight. Good event though and a lot of cool cars there. That touring was purple-ish though right? Maybe I remember it wrong but the pics make it look blue.

The classes are just based on experience as it was a driving school event, D through A for drivers and I for instructors. So really almost any cars are in each class. There were a lot of M3's, that supra, rx7, EVO, STI wagen, and a couple E30's in D level.

Bassen's S54 swapped E30, right? I've heard about it, but never seen it, it sounds like a ridiculous car.

Interestingly enough, I believe that Touring was repainted some non-factory color. I forgot what color it originally was, but I'm about 90% certain the PO repainted it.

The guy who owned the touring at the event said he is getting it repainted soon.
