Man, drifting fan and a soccer player avatar, that's a pretty subtle way to "come out" bro.

thats retarded of course drifting isnt faster through 99% of turns. but it is fun as hell. it is a show off sport that takes a lot of skill when shit starts gettin serious it shows because 1/2 of d1 drivers are very competitive in time attack and gt racing every now and then. But its also fun as hell! the whole point of it to step up constantly and try to impress your crowd(more angle, more smoke, more go!) its way fun i do it on tracks not parking lots with a stock car and its still fun and cheaper than most shit hahaLeave a comment:

I feel like adding since I'm a drifter. pacejka tire formulas (which are used in tire manufacturing today) allow tires to keep maximum grip with about +- 8 degrees of slip angle. F1 cars actually do get over steer but its so shallow you can't tell.
As for drifting being slower, well yea. Of course.
But for everyone that says "I did it when I was 16 in a parking lot" obviously never slid sideways at 40+mph and did multiple switch backs. Go to a drift event and sit with an experienced driver, THEN tell me it's easy.Leave a comment:
