What types of race tires to use with the OEM 14" wheels

I've been looking to pickup a set of bottlecaps or basketweaves to use for the autox, however i'm having trouble finding race tires in 195/65 14. If anyone uses their 14's on
the track, what make and size tire are you using?

    Thanks.

For autox usage, stay away from tiny things like 195's. Go with Khumhos or Hoo-hoo's in a 205 or 225 width.

my uncle (bimmerphile) wants to run 205/55/14 Toyos.

He likes the lower aspect to raise gear ratio slightly. It'll probably screw with your speedometer accuracy, but help acceleration.

Do the match, it's not that weird. Siblings can range in age up to 20 years, it's possible to have an uncle younger than yourself.

225/50/14 Toyo RA-1 will fit on basketweaves with no rubbing, even on slammed cars. If you have the skills and setup to need 225's, thats the way to go, the grip is amazing.

                        Azenis...

You'll need the weight savings of the bottle cap to offset the tire weight, but you wlil not be disapointed (and they are cheap as hell, $50 / tire).

im running 50 series on my 15's and it does make a difference. car feels like it picks up speed faster. wont help at high speeds tho. I think my speedo is off now. seems im going faster than I am, which would be the result.
