    Drifting in IL?

Are there any IL/Chicago based drifting clubs, sites, events, forums, etc etc?
I've searched and can't seem to find any. I'm looking to take up some form of racing as a weekend hobby so I'm trying to attend some events to get a feel for the genre.

Omg, yes. One of the sickest tracks I know of is around your area.

I don't know of the local community website, but I know Touge Factory (www.tougefactory.com) is up there on those tracks.

I'd shoot them an e-mail asking for more info.

It's Mucci, same name as this one.
I'm North East, at Diversey and Sheraton.

And no, never heard of it. I'll check it out. Thanks

Alright sent them a note to approve. They had like a forum genocide a few months back due to alot of inactivity with users. So nearly everyone had to re-register so they have it so someone has to vouche for you before you can be accepted. But ChitownM is a bunch of locals a few e36's mostly e46's but a few e30s and a few e9x's. But they have weekly meets when its warmer out... You dont stay too far from me im over by Diversey and Cicero.

I heard the best locations are schools zones around 1-2pm.
It's like that sweet scene in downtown Tokyo on fast and the furious were the crowd splits to allow them to drift through - only replace the nimble full grown adult crowd with 70lb pre-teens carrying 40lbs of backpack.

That was the 2nd time I signed up, and I get this notice when trying to sign in now: Sorry, we could not find a member called mucci, are you sure it's correct?

Is this site even in effect anymore?
