    Unable to edit thread post

I've been replying to my thread with new items for sale and linking it in the first post on the thread. Since yesterday, I have not been able to edit the first post.

I go to the edit panel for the first post, make my changes, click preview, changes show up, then click Save, banner pops up stating 'working', banner disappears and the post reflects what was originally there and does not include the changes. I've tried this over 10 times.

Is there a limit on editing a post or something?

Funny enough, I can edit other posts I own. Like this one with the 'test-edit' string.

It is possible that the forum has a time limit for editing, if you post after a few minutes you still have a chance to edit but to After 1 day you will not be able to edit the content you posted before.

This is likely due to an edit time limit on posts. Many forums restrict editing the first post after a certain period. You’ll either need an admin to extend/remove that limit, or just add updates as new replies.
