With the new forum software, can I host photos here? I use imgur so seldom there's a learning curve every time.

The forum software is configured to host images, I do not know about the performance, as from experience each page on this forum takes 3-10 seconds to load (independent of your internet connection)
There are two ways to upload images via post editor. Click The picture icon (one with mountains and sun)
1) Provide the url of your images if on the web, the forum automatically defaults to downloading it to its local stash.
2) Change the tab to upload, select "choose files"
Click ok, the photos will be embedded in your post.
