Transaction feedback as part of profile

I'm horrible about remembering to find someone's transaction feedback and post into it properly.

Some forums have the ability to rate a seller built in, and it lists their feedback rating under their profile sidebar (avatar, posts, location, etc.).

This is an example of mine on Joey Link's NWFirearms VBulletin forum:

^good idea, but r3v has had a few discussions regarding whether or not forum members want--and/or are mature enough for--a feedback system, and the answer has previously been no. However, I think the last discussion was about a general feedback, not specifically transaction... So maybe this would be more accepted?

I've always thought that would be a good thing to do. Even though there is a subforum for transaction feedback, I'd bet money that most people do not bother doing a search on the person they are buying from.

Also, having a feedback rating system would help to reduce thread shitting (in theory). Right now, if a member gets burned by some seller, they just make sure to post their negative feedback into every new thread the seller makes as a warning to other potential buyers. If there were a rating system, there would be no need for everyone to shit on a "bad" seller's thread since there will be a bad feedback rating visible in their profile.

Eh...it's not going to stop someone from making a new thread or posting about it.... (in theory).

        Good idea though still

Im with you guys on this one! especially since the first page on my feedback makes me look like a bad guy. and that was back in 2005.

sucks that they have to see that first. what makes you think there gonna even want to look at my second page(where the current good feedback is).

its also great because it shows the members that left you positive feedback as well as negative feedback.
i like that it doesnt have "Members that just have nothing to do with the transaction but wanna leave there 2 cents".
