Some of you have posted you love sub forums. I think it is a waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and if i missed one ! but maybe it needs another !

          example

          old forum

          clcik suspension mods
click what you want to read etc

          New layout

          click suspension & unsprung
          click Springs, Dampers & Steering
click what you want to read etc
          click mark all forums read
          click Suspension & Unsprung
          click Swaybars & Chasis Re-enforcement
click what you want to read etc
          click mark all forums read
          click Suspension & Unsprung
          clcik Subframe & Arms
click what you want to read etc
          click mark all forums read
          click Suspension & Unsprung
          clcik Brakes
click what you want to read etc
          click mark all forums read
          click Suspension & Unsprung
          clcik Wheels & Tires
click what you want to read etc
          click mark all forums read
          click Suspension & Unsprung
          clcik 5x120 using e30 M3 components
click what you want to read etc
          click mark all forums read
          click Suspension & Unsprung
          click 5x120 using non-e30 components
click what you want to read etc
          click mark all forums read
          click Suspension & Unsprung

if at any point you quit reading the text in read and skipped to here you just solidified my point.

Does anyone really come here to read just the info on subframe and arms? There is a search that works well. The new format is more organized but WAY LESS USER FRIENDLY FOR THOSE THAT READ ALL.

          this is the same for
          Engine & Drivetrain
          Appearance & Cosmetic
          In Car Entertainment

the only one that I have found to be better is in transaction feedback.

          wes saying KEEP IT SIMPLE!!

It's not that I particularly dislike the new format, but I really prefer the old one.

And schnitzer teil-jäger, if you have the time and patience to write up EVERY SINGLE FRIGGIN detail of your clicking history, then you certainly shouldn't worry about how much time it is going to take you to read the sub forums!!!!!

The sub forums will allow the search feature to be SO much more productive. Keeping newbies and lazies from asking silly questions to begin with.

They also make things SO much more organized. Instead of searching through over 1,000 posts to find a write up on some random body mod, now you can go to the correct forum and brows through, oh maybe 300.

It will take some getting used to. It will for everyone. Give it some time. Be open..

In the meantime, have a little consideration for the people (Jordan and Mods) who are working hard to make sure this transition goes smoothly, for YOU...

                    :)

                        bingbingbingbing!!

R3V is a HUGEE datebase of info, not it makes it 100x to find stuff. I am willing to bet newbie questions will start to decrease.

Also, schnitzer if you are at work you should be doing work NOT browsing the internet. If I were your boss you would be fired. If you can't find anything productive to do ask for more work!!

get your damn panties out of a wad. It is my opinion after 3 days on the new format. I expressed it so what. Do I really expect anything to be done? No! Things were good. people resist change. Will I get used to it? sure. Do I like it? Not as much as before. Does my opinion really mater to Jordon? No but I don't care. Is the hard work appreciated to maintain the board? Yes. Is if appreciated for fixing something no broke? No. Do I appreciate you personally dragging posts all around? No. Do I have to deal with it to be a member of the board? Yes. Do I think you should be able to handle criticism? yes. Did you handle it without addressing me by name, being sarcastic and kissing Jordan's ass? no. It belongs to Jordan he can do as he wishes. It will come and go as he sees fit. I will come and go as he sees fit. You will come and go as he sees fit. So do not allow an open post of good and bad if you can not accept a little criticism. Lock it up. Ban those that oppose you. All it was was a comment, that even started ..
Some of you have posted you love sub forums
I saw both sides did you? At least I post for my own selfish benifit, try to get what I want out of things and not pretend to defend Jordan and the mods just because "I had to move all the threads".

opinionated yes, liking the new layout not as good.
                          Dude! Go get laid!

I'll agree with Ken. The organization of the sub-forums is badass, but it's a pain in the ass to navigate.

Well, if anything, Jordan's emphasizing that little tool we like to call "Search."

But yeah, as for the forums, bring OT back!!!! and rename "Engine & Drivetrain" to "Engine & Drivetrain Swaps" seeing as that's all that's in there anymore.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

OT will be back when I can set proper permissions on it.

The subforums are to aid both manual, and forum aided searches. We all know the search tool sucks, it turns back alot of usless stuff. This will help.

The forum layout isnt changing, so either get used to it, click "view all new posts since last visit", or post elsewhere.
