    24v section needs sub sections...

I think it would be a lot more organized thus less intimidating for those that choose not to search.

    24v section
    -Brakes
    -transmissions
    -engines

or whatever. Just to sort things out and make it lots easier for quick browsing.

I like this Idea in theory not sure how it would actually work and Brakes already has its own subforum.

Somthing like this (not in this order)

-Drivetrain (transmissions, drive shafts, clutch, diffs, etc.)
    -Wiring/Electronics
-Cooling (Radiators, expansion tanks, fans, AC)
    -Exhaust
    -Engine

Seriously too much shit there for it all to be in one section.

I'm going to start working on this, probably tonight. So what subforums do we want it to have?

I'm actually considering splitting the 24V section into its own forum under Technical, since it's pretty much known across the E30 scene that R3V has the most comprehensive 24V swap section on the web.

This is my idea thus far:

              24V DOHC Engine Swaps:
              - Wiring/Electrical
              - Cooling
              - Transmission/Driveline
              - Braking
              - Exhaust
              - General Technical

This is a terrifyingly daunting task tho, there are over 250 threads in the 24V forum. Moving and separating them all is going to take forever.

Ugh. This is a terrible idea. People who can't search should die in a fire. Sorting this section in that way would just make it more annoying to follow.

How about troubleshooting added as well. We don't want the general technical filled with nothing but those, because it will be. ;)

You're the only person so far out of probably a dozen that thinks this.

There's too many unanswered/vague/old threads for the tried and true search function to be able to get your specific answer, answered. No one said you had to click on their thread and read what they are posting about in the first place. ;)

Disagree. Forum search functions are great and all but still do not work all that great. Search for something about 24V swap and you are linked to a ton of threads. Most having nothing to do with what you searched for.
