State prefix in the classified section??

it would be awesome if we could have everyone post what state they are in, in the title of their ads.

    example

VA : Pair of late bumpers and pop out windows

Not hard to put your two letter abbreviation for your state in the title. Most just don't have a clue though.

Bimmerforums has an actual drop down menu to list the state, wonder if James can add this here.

I think if James uses a drop down menu like Matt said and made it mandatory to select before being able to create a classified ad, then we could get it going pretty easily and its not really a show stopper. You could always have other selections too besides US states like "GER", "UK", "AUS", and others.

I think its a small change that could help people sift through easier to local items.

it would be cool. most of the time shipping kills on parts. and its hard to find decent things in a junkyard

This would definitely help a lot. I hate seeing something I need only to realize that its on the other side of the country.

I second this, especially for larger parts like bumpers, etc.

We will need to update forum software to add this. James is considering it for the future.
