The forum rarely marks posts read as I read them. Is this happening to anyone else?

I often have to hit the "mark all posts read" button after I'm done to make sure it clears the new flags.

9 times out of 10 when I use that button I can come back a bit later and it shows no new posts even though shit loads of replies have been made.

What gives? phpBB never did this shit...

hmmm, I never noticed, I just kept hitting the new posts button and figured it was right that no one has posted since my last visit. to me it looks fine but never really looked at closely until now.

I have the same problems at times. Seems to happen with certain threads though.

seems to be a problem typical of vbulletin. i've been using it for a long time on my local chicago forum and i just got used to it. I just make good use of the thread subscription to keep track of threads
