how to properly advertise on r3v?

I'd like to be able to offer sales, discount and promotional deals to our fellow r3v members but am unsure how to go about doing it without being a forum sponsor. Mods feel free to PM me about this but just wanted to see what the proper method of going about this would be before i posted anything in the wrong section.

Why not just become a sponsor? Giving back is good for your business. It will pay off believe me. Its also more fair to those that do sponsor on this and other forums.
