    iPhone/safari not saving passwords

Noticed a few days ago that safari on my iphone changed a bit. Now it won't save passwords when I log into forums like this one and bf.c

Anybody else have this problem? I dislike tapatalk and don't want to pay to browse here.

Use google chrome for iOS. Safari sucks.

I wouldn't recommend Chrome for iPhone. As a developer I've witnessed it usually being more buggy than Safari.
edit: To elaborate, iOS doesn't allow non-apple browsers to have site-level (1st party, 3rd party etc.) control over cookies (you can only block all, or none). Also the rendering and javascript engines used for desktop Chrome cannot be used, as Apple requires their own WebKit version and their own Apple JavaScript engine instead. There is also the limitation of local storage being shared between normal and private browsing sessions which can be annoying. Just a huge mess imo. Apple has put a lot of limitation. Hope that made sense.

Go to settings / Safari / Passwords & AutofFill / Saved Passwords
From here you'll be able to edit your password preferences, and check if your r3v un/ps is being saved.

weird, it had saved passwords for S14.net and Mye28, but not here or bimmerforums. How do you add to the list? it didn't give me an option.

              Close Safari app
Go to Settings app / Safari - Clear Cookies and Data
Re-open Safari app and navigate to r3vlimited.com
Fill out Username, Password and check "Remember Password"
Safari will then ask if you would like to add this login to your saved passwords.
              Click "Save Password"

              Hope that helps.

                Thanks for the help Trevor,

I did all of the above, but it did not give me the pop up asking to save passwords. :cockbloc:

                    It does.

It only likes a balmy 72° too. If it sits in my car while at work, I'll come out to it shut off. Plug it in and in a minute it starts up and shows massive battery life left... I've seen 34% all the way up to 76%.

Yesterday I was out on a jog and it shut off since it was a bit chilly outside, 45°ish. Came home and plugged it in and it showed 52% battery.
