Should we make a thread with a poll? Have people vote on whether or not we should have a convertible section. From there it should be easy to see what kind of reception it would have.

That's not really the point though. Everyone wants a vert section, but the mods have other reasons to balance.

Really, we are asking James if we can have a Vert section.

I think it goes towards showing how much that favor would be appreciated.

Also +1 it would fit best in "Appearance"

I approve. This is a great suggestion.

Voted for. Verts have a lot of unique and screwed-up systems.

Maybe it'd be easier to create a "Convertible" thread somewhere (FAQ?), sticky it, and just edit the first post to include links to all kinds of vert thread questions and write ups. And then create threads in other sections where they may be more relevant (ie. interior, gen. tech), but post a link to those threads as a reply in the Convertible thread. That way everything would be in one place, but would also gather more traffic from the other sections. Best of both worlds. I would volunteer my bookmark collection and my time to find convertible-related content on the web.

I mean I'm able to find all I need with google but some people aren't internet savvy. Which is why we only have 25 votes when more people than that have voiced their opinions. And 65k members includes all the spam bots, which would for def vote in favor of a vert section if they could.

I mean, our cabrios are growing old and it makes sense to start something about preserving them for the foreseeable future, right?

                                in for this.

although only 25 members agree, how many people actually visit this part of the forum...

if this poll was in the for sale section (for arguments sake), i'm sure there'd be a looooot more votes.
