Quick suggestion

So I was thinking about James, Matt and Josh and all of the hard work they put into this forum. Then I started to feel bad because they have to fork over their money to pay for this hell hole. So I have an idea (actually I stole it from another forum). People should be able to pay like 20 bucks to change their titles or other people can pay to change someone's title. People can also pay to have others temp banned. It would help pay for hosting etc. and I think it will be kind of entertaining. Transactions would be anonymous of course.


Oh and since this was my idea I have immunity.

well the best forum fundraising I've seen is of all sites: candlepowerforums.com

It's for us flashlight nerds. Huge site, thousands of members, high overhead to pay for bandwith etc. Every once in a while they have raffles where a sponsor puts up a cool product, and people can buy tickets for something on the order of 5$ a ticket.

Last year I won a prototype flashlight worth hundreds of dollars with ten bucks in tickets. It was for a charity and the site

The site and various charities that the site supports earns thousands of dollars this way to pay for overhead.

Take a look at the site, modding flashlights, one-off cnc machined flashlights, even computer-programmable lights.

I bought the e30 so I'd stop wasting money on hundreds of dollars of flashlights and waste it on something that in theory should actually move.
