Correct that mistake so that people dont think were a bunch of inbred fucks. And I seriously doubt most people know they are driving an E30. I talk to MANY people that own BMWs and when I say "nice E39" no matter what age, theyre like "what?".

no shit, i have to catch myself .. i meet a lot of my wifes patients and they know im into bmw's. when anyone asks what kind i have to bite my tongue to keep from sounding like the total car nerds we are. i usually say 3 series or ill just say "i like all the old ones"
