    Strange downtime?

    Did anyone else just notice that just now?

    It was down for like 5 minutes.......wieeeeeerd.....

            As Matt said.

            At 2:00AM PST the Server runs a full database backup, begins its off-site backup, and does a quick database cleanup to ensure all the tables are nice and clean.

            This causes the processor to max out as MySQL is running very heavily. The site is not actually down per say, the server is just treating the backup as its primary priority.

            Its designed that way :)
