How does one delete their own topic

on most boards you can delete the topic if nobody has posted in it, am i blind or can you not do this? i made a topic which wont organize itself and makes a giant sentence, i tried restructuring it but it wouldn't work then tried to delete it but couldnt find a button. I don't need to delete it anymore, just wondering. Thank you

it is an administrator-placed option with most forum software. just pm a mod if you need it changed

Hmmm... had I known this I would have had someone trash a bunch of my "have you ever.." threads being that they were recieved with such disapproval from the R3V community.
