Motion to separate M30 from "other" in swaps forum

How popular does the M30 swap have to be before we separate it into its own child forum, and de-group it from "other" swaps as well.

I think if we separate it, R3V could clinch the position as the premier forum for M30 swap info.

    discuss.

There's really no need to separate the two. Even with them combined that forum does not see a whole lot of traffic.

I vote seperate. Much better and less cluttered in there. The M30 swap is becoming very popular.

I dunno.. I gotta go with Mr. 325 on this one. I have been contemplating the swap for a long time and I have been successful in finding all of the posts and info that I needed.

Bumping - I'd really like to see that happen. R3V has to have more knowledge of M30 swaps than anywhere else. It would be a nice thing to have....

            Purrty Please????

            :)

Start mass producing the engine mounts, esp. for the Gen III motors, and it will quickly become the most popular swap. Well maybe for those over 25. Something about single cam, simple engine, big displacement, and wiring that plugs into the plug I already have gets me all sorts of excited.

yeah, Gen3 is the best... especially since there is no modification for the firewall or fab of shift linkage.

Joe, I can't f-ing wait for you to make those damn mounts!

Going from 1.6l to 3.5l should be fun :))) I miss the torque I had in the 3.2l vr6 and the sound.....

Seeing as I am the one who started separating forum sub sections to begin with.... I say do it.

I vote to merge all sections into one "general" forum, roachfly style.

I think keeping the M30 swap topics away from the nissan bullshit swap topics is a great idea. Nothing pisses me off more than entering the sub-forum where my expertise really shines and seeing another fucking nissan swap topic.

And as Joe said, we have a collective gold mine of M30 swap knowledge, and I think that r3vlimited really could become *the* place for M30 swap info and advice.

Yea, unless you speak german, R3V is the place to go for the m30 swap. Hell, I still get emails and Pm from guys asking about doing.
