So, It seems many people get the ever needed (I will not pass judgment/opinion of ANY Mod's choice to Ban any member) BanStick. Being as some are casual friends, I think it would be nice to see a list of people that got the axe so weknow where they went. You always find out who isn't at work anymore after the "pinkslip", so why can't r3v do the same?

Typically because the asshat who got banned caused unnecessary drama. And undoubtedly, posting an announcement that someone got banned would only invite even more.

That, and the guys who swing the stick have no reason to 'splain themselves to any of the membership.

Yeah, I guess, It's just easier to see who has disapeared in one resource instead of useless posting or trying to find out who/why the stick got swung. Not trying to rock the boat, just cut down on people trying to find the info. Personally I spent 45min+ trying to find where/why Jord... was banned. Coulda saved valued porn viewing time.

Think of it like this " The mods are like the bouncers at a night club and are here to keep an eye out for everyones behalf and when one steps out of line they take out the trash without it disturbing everyday business. " You don't need to know what happens at the club and this really isn't any different. Other than to know your best interest is taken care of without you even knowing anything really ever happened ...

Probably not a good idea.

Threads would be locked and shut down at random. People would get banned for no reason and without warning.
