Agreed. Check out my post too. I've been complaining about it the whole time since the idea was started with the template that was so large. My screen is 1280 pixels wide, and for those of you who may have a smaller resolution than that I can only imagine how much more of a PITA it is. Facelift is good, but don't screw up the appearance of the forum. I caught that shit right away lol. Screen cap at 6:11 :P Maybe to regain that many pixels, it's being entirely resized too?

s0urce made an overall much classier template by simply photoshopping the current one. Cleaner and sharper images. Really you wouldn't have to do much work with his supplied images. If the width was taken down some I agree, it wouldn't hurt anything. I run 1152x864 at work and home though so I didn't see that much of the horizontal scrolling you are seeing.

I think even in this day and age you should design for 1024x768. But what do I know, I design for 800x600 STILL.

I agree 1024x768 should be the standard. I liked s0urce's templates too, as I believe I replied in the thread about all this. A different but narrow banner and that cool CFish (IIRC) weave pattern in the background was awesome, and it wouldn't screw anything up even on the lowest resolutions.

Edit-oh, you say you run 1152x864, so you dont see as much scrolling as me? How does that work? I'm running 1280x800... The entire forum is readable but its got that obnoxious scroll bar on the bottom for no reason other than an extra-wide banner at the top.
