Question about thread viewing

I was reading a thread, and when i hit the bottom of the page, the box that said "Current users watching this thread" said 2- me and my brother. My brother is sitting accross the room for me at the moment, and i said "are you on r3v?" and he said "no i havent been on r3v all day" he also doesnt stay automatically logged in.

what gives?

That is correct, the server sees multiple users from one IP address and will assume they are all logged in.

OT, but not, I have been having trouble with auto log on. For the longest time it was when I opened the page, not I have to log in every time.
