Wheels and Tires For Sale Section...

would it be possible to have two different subforums or whatever?

    1) 4x100
    9) 5x120

    ??

I am starting to see more 5-lugged cars here on the board. Just to alleviate the aggravation of searching through the whole wheels for sale thread for 5x120.

This could possibly lure more rejects from BF.C and S14.net but that will benefit the wheels for sale section.

Best Regards and cheers to nice cold Yuengling,

With the amount of activity in that forum I really don't personally see a need to divide it even more.

Then we can do it by offset:

          Low = 20 or below
          Medium = 20-30
          High = 30 or above

Then in each of those we can do

          5 spoke
          6 spoke
          6+ spoke
          Basket Style

Maybe just ask for everyone (not that everyone will) post what size/lug pattern/offset in the title. Simple enough, that way you only clicky click on what concerns you...

Totally agree with this post. Except for that we need to have subforums by wheel width as well. ET15 7" wheels clearly belong in a different subforum than ET15 9" wheels because of the work required to run them. Oh, and if we could get one additional sub-subforum that broke them down by level of curb rash that'd be great too. Nothing ridiculous, just something like:
              • Brand New
              • Like New
              • Nearly New
              • Minor curbing on 1 wheel (1" or shorter)
              • Minor curbing on 2 or more wheels
              • Minor curbing on all 4 wheels
              • Medium curbing on 1 wheel (1" to 4")
              • Medium curbing on 2 or more wheels
              • Medium curbing on all 4 wheels
              • Major curbing on 1 wheel (4" or worse)
              • Major curbing on 2 or more wheels
              • Major curbing on all 4 wheels

Obviously you'd also need subforums for each of those for ones that are bent versus ones that aren't bent. Oh, and how many wheels. So in each subsubsubforum you'd only have the following:

              • Minor bends on 1 wheel (1" or shorter)
              • Minor bends on 2 or more wheels
              • Minor bends on all 4 wheels
              • Medium bends on 1 wheel (1" to 4")
              • Medium bends on 2 or more wheels
              • Medium bends on all 4 wheels
              • Major bends on 1 wheel (4" or worse)
              • Major bends on 2 or more wheels
              • Major bends on all 4 wheels

              and obviously:

              • Unbent

See how I reused some of the same measurements to save you time in the creation of the subforums? Hope you appreciate that, but feel free to change it however you wish. Obviously if you use my idea I'd like the section to be called "VacMan's Wheel FS section" or something similar. You can play around with the title.

Thanks, it should really help me in my wheel searches.

then we can separate by color:

                PINK
                GREEN
                SILVAR.

another helpful thing would be to not forget the GPS coordinates where the damage took place, so others will know where the damage happened at....

Well I'm a moderator at bimmerforums, so I do have to confess that I originally thought of it for use over there. Odd that they didn't accept my suggestion though. I think they must not like me. It's clearly the easiest way of compartmentalizing wheels. I can think of a few more appropriate subsubsubsubforum tweaks like color and valve stem length, wheel weights on inside vs. outside, etc. but I don't want to go overboard...

                            Is this the new OT?

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
                            Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.
