    Detailing consultations at bimmerfest

So I spoke with Tim, one of the event coordinators at bimmerfest today, and learned some valuable information. I wasn't able to set up a big booth for detailing this year, but I am working with him to get a BIG space next year and do some detail demoes and product sampling at bimmerfest 2010 .

This year, however, I am only able to exhibit my car as a, icon for my detailing service; I wasn't able to bring the EZ up and products as I won't have electrical, shade, water, etc...

However, I really want to attend to all the bimmerforums and bimmer enthusiast guys who have been asking for detailing quotes/etc...

If you would like me to take a look at your BMW for a free detailing consultation and quote, I'd be more than happy to do so! This is one of the events where most, if not all of the BMW enthusiast community gets together, and it is a great opportunity for me to get to see everyone's car in person; a valuable too when preparing product and getting ready for a detail. I always like to come prepared to a detail and nothing can help more than seeing the car in person before.

I hope I can trust you guys to be mature, but I am posting my phone # on the forum. Please don't spam it or prank call it; I hope you will use it to contact me at bimmerfest during the day if you would like me to come visit your car and take a look.

I know how hectic it can be during the day of a BIG meet and connecting with people whose faces (or cars) I am not familiar with is stressful and confusing.

Also, sorry I wasn't able to work everyone into my schedule before this weekend. I detailed as many cars as I could these past few weekends, but I had 3 midterms and a big paper due for my classes here at UCSD; school always comes first and I'd rather not let my detailing get in the way of my GPA.

Best of luck to everyone preparing their cars for the big day! I'm taking my e36 in tomorrow to Powered by Max in Miramar to get my fenders rolled and coils dialed in for a good stance. Still need new rear tires but the front should be looking "primo!"

    See you all Saturday!

    Best,
    Jake
