Official California E30 Sightings Thread

Saw Castro's Smog E30 getting off the 170 and driving down Sherman Way. Tried to give you the thumbs up, although you weren't looking. Too cool for me.:(

I went to go look at an e30 that I might be taking home and while I was there, there was a beautiful red one parked with blacked out kidneys and lowered. I asked the seller but he didn't know who's it was. It has to be someone on the forum because it looked familiar. Wish I would have taken a picture. By the time I was doing looking, it was gone.

that was my car..... sitting in the driveway at a huge house on parthenia right? were you checkin out that 325i that carl is selling?

Yeah that was it. Golly was it pretty. You know Karl, or just some of the CSUN people there? Have you seen the car he's selling? Would you recommend? I drove it and it sounds like the rear left bearing is gone or something, and there's a bunch of cosmetic flaws.

It was black with decals on the window and the sides. I can't remember if it had a roof rack or not.

the cars pretty... the motor sounded great! just didnt get to drive it. i didnt fine tooth comb it sooooo.... im not sure/dont think its worth what he wants. i was a good deal for what i had offered him.;)

oh btw.... the owner of that place is in the movie equip transpo business. I used to live there with my budddy who happened to be having a 4th party. carl just rents the parking space in the back(he lives in that old army bus). i never liked that fucker.. now i know why.

I have too, but they need quite a bit of work. Plus those are the early models, I'm more of a later model guy.

Well he was a greedy bastard and wouldn't go down. So I paid the 1700 price tag. But, I'm actually really surprised on how clean it is. It runs like a champ too. Gave it hell on the ride home. Now begins a never ending dd project.
