    OC Moonroof Fabrication

If I were to say.... come into possession of a moonroof.... where would the best place to be to get the rails fabricated along with the guiding trim and cables and perhaps even a slider made? Not so much the slider as I know how to make my own..... but the rest? any shops in particular?
preferably a place that will do it under a $100

Awwww lucky. I get the roof in the mail tomorrow and sometime this week I'm going to go to AAA Sunroof, (roughly their name, something like that) they are in costa mesa, so very close to me. I've had several people tell me they are the most competent about BMWs

I'll let you know when I have an estimate. Are you like me in the fact that it needs all the rails and sliders re-made?

Check ASC out of San Diego. They were the aftermarket installers of many moonroof kits back when. I don't know if they still even exist.

You mean the stock SUN roof? The moonroof is technically "aftermarket". it was an aftermarket company that signed a deal with BMW and BMW USA had that company produce moonroof for a limited time only in the USA.

I have no rails whatsoever so I need to have some made. I'll stop by them this week

I'd like to know more about this. Where were you reading it? This could be an option for me too, probably cheaper than having rails custom made
