Who in Socal is driving up the west coast summer concours?

I'm going to be driving all the way from Newport Beach to Carmel Valley this August for the BMWCCA West Coast Summer Concours. It's about a 6-7 hour drive but frequent breaks will be taken. Anybody interested in caravanning there with me? I have no idea what day I'll leave or time or anything since its a couple months a way, but it'd be cool to get a caravan of e30's going to the biggest BMW Concours on the west coast (besides bimmerfest last year of course).

Saaaaame, although it's a huge event and I probably won't win anything, I'm entering in the clean category. It kind of sucks because they have subdivisions, but where does the e30 go? It goes in the general section with "all the other" cars, and most cars in that section are like 2005-2009 cars which are new, so of course they'll be clean.... kind of unfair, but it's still fun to have my car judged and have them tell me what I can work on, etc.

I'd love to get some sort of an award some day at a concours..
