      Use yo eyes son! lol

But no seriously. There isnt really a 'low' point in the cooling system. Its not like the oil sys. There is very little air in your cooling system.

Your oil pan isnt full of water is it?! Check your dipstick.

        now that would be bad

on a side note, engine oil is lighter than coolant, so you'd be leaking oil if your pan were full of coolant..

Well I know my oil pan is not full of water because the car turns on and idles normally. Also, the more distilled water I pour into the reservoir, the more water gets puddles to the floor. Basically, the only water that remains in the system is whatever is in the radiator, rad hoses and thermostat housing. Tracing the water up from that bolt is so hard because you have to be under the car and the oil filter housing is in the way. I wish one of you (or both of you) Would be able to check it out. I think my only choice now is to take it to a mechanic who is familiar with these cars and checks it out for himself.

OK ok, haha. I will do it. I dont know why, but I will do it anyway since I will try anything at this point. I just want to start enjoying this car already.

edit: I will try to open it up this weekend and I will let you know what I find. Thanks for the help Westervelt.

It may have been simpler than we thought. What I'm thinking is that my Rad cap was bad and was creating extra pressure which may have created leak from somewhere. Mysteriously, the leak stopped and the water in the system was boiling at half temp which means there was not enough pressure from the rad cap. I think this means the rad cap pressure was inconsistent which means it was bad. I replaced it and it seems better now. I will update further if it remains stable or not.
