i didnt know they were called hog rings but yes i used the old ones since the ones on mine were still in good shape i broke 3 though but i got like 15 from the old seat i took a part...just stretching the vynil to get it perfect took time, im sure leather would be harder, also being careful when removing the vinyl or leather off the seat since it can tear also installing it could tear..a small piece tore from mine but i got it to work by pulling and stretching a little....but here are more pictures





then after all that it just comes off

Yeah straight forward and won't have to pay someone to do it. Since it's easy I'm sure I can re do my seats I have access to vynil and foam for seats but mine are pretty nice. My passenger seat is mint, rear seat is mint too.

I did it myself for the experience and joy of Doing myself. It wasn't hard

really? i once tried to bring a bolster and they said that they would have to charge me for the entire seat. so i just through it on the ground and bounced

My sister works at a motorcycle seat that's why I can get foam and vinyl for cheap :)




I told the guy it was part of the seat when I went to pay but he instead insisted it was an arm rest and part of the console so I was like sure as long as it's no more than 10 I'm cool lol.
It was like 5 something.

Whatever yards you guys are going to are super cheap!! The ones here always rip me off for stupid little things. $12 for two hoses when they are supposed to be $2 each :loco: Maybe its karma for my sagging pockets filled with "hardware" :mrgreen:
