Hey I'm from San Jose, CA and i have a 1987 325e, that i want to maybe put a stroker kit on the thing.

So with that said I was wondering if anybody was around San Jose that could assist me in anyway, cause right now the bmw is not running, a sensor or something went out. And I'm new to the bmw scene, ive been reading and it turns out that i can make this 325e into a very very decent car. Ill be getting a settlement check really soon and i plan to spend it all on my BMW.

Depending on how much your settlement is, you might look into spending it on an e30 that already runs well. but as stated above, norcale30;) has plenty of guys that are more than willing to help.

+1. Just doing a small stroker motor with your "e" won't turn it into a very very decent car. It will be a little bit more fun, but it sounds like you bought the car the way it is. The best thing to do would be to put your money into a late model and save for a better quality motor swap.

+1 on the motot swap 24v or big6. But keep the early car. Just ad plastics or euros bumpers
