Woohoo! It's 1.5 hours closer to me than before! Hopefully I'll be still around CA at that point, since I'm graduating the week before.

I'm weighing in at 60/40 picnic vs bfest. Last year I took bfest over the picnic, and being so close together and my (shitty) job not including any paid vacation or sick days for that matter, I'm way more inclined to check out the new E30 Picnic venue instead. I can't really realistically afford both, even if my tight wad boss let me take the days off to begin with....

    fuck.

Well then this changes everything. I actually love Pasadena to be honest, because I am totally into the whole Arts and Crafts / Gamble House / Bungalow thing.

That being said, I'll be there with lots of friends and lots of cars. It's only 15 minutes away.
QFT. For everyone saying it's not gonna be as good, you really have no idea. There has never been a Bimmerfest at this location so until you go see it for yourself, you really won't know. Last year everyone was worried that it was going to suck because the economy. It ended up being the biggest one yet. I have a feeling this year will be the same. It is what you make of it, and those who are not going because they think it's stupid, I have a feeling will be missing out. Just my 2 cents. SB was fun but I'm excited for another year of Bimmerfest regaurdless of the location.

    Cheers,

    Brian

i just do not want to take the chance of it suck really bad and having spent money on gass and a hotel room. i do not have that kind of time and money to play with right now. if i knew for a fact that i would like it i would be willing to spend the time and money.
ill go to the e30 picnic because i have never been, it looks and sounds like a crap load of fun, and i can visit my sister and the kids at the same time.
