LEGAL HELP For Bail

Hey guys,
I recently forgot to pay a fix it ticket. They then notified me that I had a bench warrant. So I immediatly paid my bail online. I think it was like 600 dollars. My question is now that they told me my case has been cleared. When do I get my bail back? And, How will they return it to me?

i don't believe you get the bail back... i think you basically paid to get your name cleared after it became a warrant. I may be completely wrong though...

I would tend to think it's better than sitting in jail.
Call it an expensive reminder to attend court.

Bail is just insurance money saying you will show up for court. If you skip bail you loose whatever you paid plus get in more trouble..

No it was only for not having the sticker that said I had current registration. My registration was however current but because I did it online the dmv took forever to get it to me! Such BS IMO.

You could have saved your self all that money n only had to pay a fraction of that had u just gone to the court house n turned your self in, then they'll set up a new court date where most likely your Failer to apprear would be dismessed. Only way you can go to jail on that kinda warrent is if you got pulled over and the cop took you in on that warrent.
