Chico is wear most of the ugly girls go to party. The hot ones are just straight nasty, as you said. and the town is boring as fuck. But, i might be there this week to go rafting/floating.

Chico's great: half a traditional old farming town, half a modern College town. Cops will hassle you if you stroll around the downtown drunk on weekends, but the town loves young people. VERY hot in the summer:average daytime temps over 100 degrees. Great Mountain Bike scene with good bike shops like Pullin's Cyclery, and the best Indy BMW shop of all: European Motorsport, run by the founder of BIMRS.org, Rion Groh. Rion's crew has built race cars, LOVEs E30s, and is reasonable. You imagine mods and European Motorsports will help you figure out if it's possible. Also a great indy Volvo shop near the airport, and a great, old-school Race shop: Craig Hansen Racing. Craig's a Brit, and worked with Costin and Duckworth in the pre-Cosworth days. He's an amazing machinist and engine builder. Thunderhill Raceway is 40 miles southwest of Chico, and BMWCCA and NASA run lots of affordable Track Days there. Great choice of a place to move.
