South Bay Sunday meet

Personally, I think you guys let this thread die for a while and bring it back in the winter time. I'm sure more people would be up for it., just make sure you keep the buzz on the forums with a new thread name.

I agree with you on the new thread but summer time is almost here and the meet will be funner when were not freezing our asses off ;)

What does everyone think about having it in the Village Del Amo shopping center on the north-west corner of Torrance Blvd. and Hawthorne? It is less than five minutes away from our current spot, lot size seems pretty decent, and I bet it's fairly empty on a Sunday night, and the main thing is it has a ton of food; Habit Burger, El Burrito Jr, Panda Express, Basking Robins etc. It is in a slightly better area, and coupled with all of the food places it might attract more people?

Definently a possibility, i say we try it out this saturday, this is also right next to me work so i can just go two streets over when i get off and be there lol

Friday nights are hard, i think we all know that people will flake out on a friday night.. Especially if you live in the south bay haha, van nuys is every other friday which is perfect. i rarely have anything going on, on a sunday lol

Van nuys is once a month. I think i'll go back to motorcycles and vdub for LA area meets cause e30 owners are weak sauce. Considering half the people on so cal general chat have no job or work part time you'd think they'd want to pass the time.

How about on friday nights. We can just make sure its not on the same night as van nuys.

So we talked about this off hand last night but who thinks an updated venue that would attract more people is in order? Starbucks and "Sizzler" do not seem to be cutting it.

Well if it stays on Sundays, would other people be in favor of changing the location? Maybe to somewhere that has food rather than a discount shoe wherehouse and an autozone that refuses to sell shocks to Mo...

I think it starts at 7:30, but we can get there a few minutes late.
How about we meet by the starbucks at 7:20 then leave at around 7:30-7:35?
Which would mean we'd get there at 8:00 or so.
