South Bay Sunday meet

I think the further away you move it from a freeway offramp, the less likely you are to attrack non locals. Considering the people who exit the 405 hawthorne it adds another 15 minutes of driving. Just sayin. I'd prefer the starbucs accross from lowes off the 105 to the dtorrance location. The starbucks has been proven to be a meet friendly location.Leave a comment:

I don't think the question was answered if there will be a meet tonight or not? 8)
Yo Big ben, let's get this SouthBay thang crackin'... I'll send you a PM about some ideas and we can discuss further with the rest of the people who actually start going to the meets... We can look at the small little meets that we have of what you say is about 7cars and just have it as meetings for now to discuss how we can make it bigger and better and not just a typical boring meet...
Once again, who am I to talk... I haven't been any SB meet yet...
I might try to set up a LONG BEACH meet to get people for near by OC to come between the Southbay meet... To make things interesting... every other week SouthBay then Long Beach, like a Biweekly in 2 different areas... Hopefully we even get bigger turnouts to caravan to the Big Bad VAN NUYS meets organized by Edwin once a month...
what ya'll think...?
btw, Barry I sent u a PM... I think I you got some thangs that make me smile! Hopefully there's a meet tonight...Leave a comment:

Theres really nothing else to figure out guys, this sunday, at the new meeting spot at the posted time. If the location doesnt work out for some reason, then we will change it. It reallly doesnt have to be this difficult or confusing.
Read the post, tell your friends, and be there :)Leave a comment:

Thread info updated on the first page. We might as well change the name to the "Torrance sunday meet" or such..Leave a comment:

No real worries dude, plus Edwin isn't the one organizing it. The lack of organization is partially a result of multiple people throwing out ideas to try and make this a worth while meet.
To most of us a BMW South bay meet is brand spanking new so it isn't going to happen over night and be an amazing meet where 20 cars come out and chill every week, but we do average about 7 right now. Give it some time and yes organization, it could be good, it could be an epic fail, but i think it's way too soon to make that call. plus it's just down the street for most of us so weekly is no big deal at the moment. Bi weekly is definately a future option.
Day and time are set.
Sundays.
7:30pm
Giuliano's parking lot at the corner of Torrance and Hawthrorne in Torrance.
Ben can you update the first post with the new info? Thanks Bro
I have faith it will start to get good, now that the weather is starting to get nice and warm, people will come, doubters feel free to show up and see for yourself. :mrgreen:Leave a comment:

dude Ben, Edwin and I told you this meet was gonna get blown out. Doesnt matter what day its on. a weekly meet is just too frequent. Biweekly maybe. Seems like there are a lot of guys that are down to go but it sounds like there needs to be some better organization. i.e. what day and time.
